Siccum Tempestas means “dry storm” in classical Latin, used here as a metaphor to reflect on the impact of lifelong learning. We follow a cross-curricular approach, improving mental wellness through reading and drawing, helping to build a positive view of the world and our place in it.
We work with Spanish, African and Latin-American literary and film resources.
In Siccum Tempestas we aim the conservation and transfer of traditional knowledge to current and future generations. We highly value story telling as an important part of the cultural legacy and as a way to improve the intergenerational bonding in families.
We design and perform reading related activities for children with SEN, SEND and SEMH. We provide Bibliotherapy sessions for young adults, becoming these a positive support to navigate the age changes and emotions.
